Association "Thirst for Life"
is a nonprofit organization
established in 2005. The main activities of the association are related to
advocacy, prevention, information, education and direct work with different
groups of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our task is updating the
continuity between generations in the Roma community and helping vulnerable
groups. This includes advocacy, prevention of sexually transmitted infections,
reduce the harms of drug use, development of health, social and cultural level
of the young people of Roma origin. We aim and work to build a modern network
of health, social and legal protection of young people with risky behaviors,
establishing a new approach to respecting human rights and dignity. Thirst for
Life works primarily in the following areas:
